Collection: Like A Moth To Flame

This collection is inspired by EXS' deeply rooted affinity towards Sufism. The concept "like a moth to flame" comes from the notion of returning back to the source. Sufism idiation of the source is love in all its forms. There is no right or wrong way to practice and/or experience love, love is infinite and also finite. This exhibition seeks to explore such notions while examining ones on concept of what love is.

Representation, exploration, and finally understanding is the intended arch of all pieces in this collection. There is a common image of the circle found in each piece, the circle is representitive of the source, its infinite self, its finite impacts on our lives and our assumed desire to return to the source, love. Alas we have, "Like A Moth To Flame."
